Solid and elegant.
Heavy with not the slightest threat to tip or wobble. One feature that is not advertized nor included in the instructions is the variable alignment between base and table. In order to achieve solidity the table does no rotate as you might expect.Instead the table is attached with 4 screws the base with 3. This means that the table can be angled at 30% intervals depending on whether you want to put the monitor to the left of your computer or to the right. I had to learn about this by accident since the instructions don't even hint at it. Once you understand it though it's a nice feature.

Perfect choice
This is a great stand. It's perfect for my 27in HP monitor and I absolutely love it. I maybe purchasing another. Wonderful product. It creates more space on my desk.

Does the job
I wanted to elevate my laptop to the level of the secondary monitor and also clear some desk space. This unit does the trick. It seems to do very well and so far the pneumatic is staying in place.

I did not have any problems with assembly others have reported. The center column is a heavy cast part with a chromed steel riser shaft. The column contains a counterbalance spring. The bottom piece is heavy gauge steel perhaps 5/32. The platform is lighter gauge stamped with a rim around the edge to make it stiff. The lock knob is chromed steel with a knurled finish -- no plastic to break. The entire unit is stiff no wiggle or rattle. An optional antiskid pad with adhesive back is provided for the platform. The pad adhesive is stamped 3M.This is really a simple lab jack a device used in laboratories. The durability and ruggedness are above consumer products. The design of a center column instead of the consumer solution of perimeter legs will decide for you. In my technical environment the stand had to fit on a repurposed invalid table. If pushed toward the edge a consumer stand with discrete chair legs would have fallen off the back. The solid base of this unit is what I need for my application. I can fit a monitor or laptop on the top and a trackball on the base It shadows the table less than a consumer stand.It won't fit every need but it may fit yours very well.

Works as Expected Arrived with 1 Stripped Screw but Not a Big Deal
Arrived on time and with all expected contents. Works for what I need it for. I purchased this unit instead of the other A shaped model (even though I'm using it for a laptop which would've worked) because it allows me to use it as a true monitor riser in the future if I no longer need it for a laptop so it's more multi-purpose. My only complaint is that one of the screws for the lower attachment point (base to piston) arrived stripped so I could only use 2/3 of the screws but it still creates stable fixation no wobble or danger to my laptop. Perfect addition to my office space no more neck pain from looking down all day! Creates desk space as the base is smaller than my laptop. Would buy again.

Stays in place with everyday use. Works perfectly with a 2 monitor set up on the highest setting. Would recommend for the price and quality.

Great quality
I purchased 2 of these for my two monitors because my work laptop is too small for my use. Easy to put together. I have adjusted the height on both a couple times already and it's very easy. I love them.

Perfection!!
Love this! I use it with my MacBook 13. I keep it on the highest setting. It elevates the camera to my face perfectly which is important because I teach online classes. It's durable and sturdy! Highly recommend!

This was exactly what I wanted. A little height. A little higher. Sturdy. Nice looking. Easy to stow. Hydraulics are a little loose after using it all day but it's still does the job well at the price I paid.

Great stand
I bought this for my son who cooks quite a bit and listens and watches his online stuff while cooking. Very sturdy and works as intended. Only thing is it was a Christmas present but the box delivered with a picture of the product on the outside.

Works great for my needs
The stand is exactly as described and I have my work Dell latitude laptop on the stand with connections to dual montiors. With this new Dell I have to leave the lid open for the two other screens I have to display correctly. The display was easy to assemble and again works exactly as described on line.Would I buy it again for my specific need.....YES.

Good size and height but the parts are hard to align for assembly and the screw that holds the adjustment height does not work well. I mostly like it at the top height which is a good thing because it won't stay when I try to set it lower.

A modern stand at a great price
The stands are great. The only issue sometimes is the the tightening bold on the back that keeps the preferred height loosens up so the internal springs pushes the stand to its tallest designation. Once pushed back down and tightened its fine.For the price and more seen look you can't go wrong.

Not bad for the price
Bought this in hopes of it helping me improve my posture. Didn't really help. Also had trouble assembling one of the screws. It did clear up some space on my desk though so that's a plus. Not bad for the price.
