Overview
The Full Motion TV Wall Mount with Extra Long Extension is a full motion (articulating) TV wall mount compatible with 40 to 80-inch televisions and rated to hold up to 110 lb. Don't Even think Twice... DO IT!
It's an amazing piece of machinery. I can turn a 50 TV sideways to see it out on my deck or in the dining room which are on opposite ends of the house I can also push it in straight so it looks just like a regular mounted TV. I also bought one for my office so i have a 50 TV as one of my computer monitors (I'm an animator) so I can see detail if needed. It's an excellent purchase don't even think twice.

Perfect mount for outdoor tv
I looked around for a long time before finding this mount. I have a shed off to one side of patio and wanted to place a tv inside shed door to protect from weather while being able to rotate tv outside door for viewing on patio. This mount was the perfect answer. Long enough and articulates in the exact right places.

I’m not gonna lie...I had my doubts about this one. Was it going to be sturdy? Was it actually going to be able to extend 40in like advertised? The answer to both those question is yes! Excellent for corner mounted TVs
Works well. I have it holding up a 75 Sony TV in a corner. The extra length made it work in a corner. The original mount I bought wouldnt extend enough to work in a corner.

Somewhat unconventional mounting
It does what it is intended to do-in my case the mount was attached in a recessed area above our gas fireplace and allowed the 65 TV to stick out of the recessed area for all to see.

Heavy duty mount
We are very happy with our purchase. Our tv was big and heavy and had to be mounted in an awkward spot and this mount was perfect. Perfect long extension mount!
Very sturdy and $100. less than anything similar at Best Buy. This is longer than anything at Best Buy and was what I needed to mount a new 70 on a corner and turn a different way. The old TV was in an alcove and this now stretches out to cover the entire hole with a 70 TV. Heavy mount but easy to hook over center screws by leaving them half screwed in and tighten after hooking mount onto them.

Excellent tv mount.
This mount works perfectly for us. The house we purchased has a built in TV space designed for old fashioned picture tube type tv. This mount made it possible to mount the tv in that space without doing a remodel. I would suggest having help installing the mount because it's quite heavy. But the install was easy. I would absolutely reccomend this product.

Excellent Articulating TV Wall Mount. Come with a template which makes mounting this very easy. Tape the template on the wall level the template locate stud with a Stud Finder drill holes install included lag bolt hang the TV and enjoy.

Great Unit When Mounted Correctly
We purchased this TV mount to enable the TV to extend beyond the end of a fireplace. The TV is recessed in a pocket between the fireplace and a window. This mount allows us to telescope and turn the TV so all can see beyond the fireplace. I consider the unit exceptionally well-constructed and designed. The mounting kit contains a variety of fasteners to anchor the unit to the wall. In our case we needed our own lag screws to secure the frame to the stud pattern on the wall.The unit is is rather ornery and cumbersome to install. Plan on two people to install. The mounting template works well. But it is important to measure the mounting slots in the unit's frame to ensure the one's chosen align with the wall stud's locations. I recommend using a level and drawing a centerline for the fasteners to follow. Pre-drill holes into the wall studs. I strongly recommend not mounting through the drywall with plastic expansion anchors. There will be a lot of bearing on a material that is not designed for long-term structural integrity. We use all of the mount's 40 extension. It certainly meets our needs.

Best Mount for the Best Price Hands Down!
By far the best mount I’ve ever owned! Holds my 75 TV and allows me to adjust the tilt and level. Like all mounts I’ve had the TV’s level needs to be adjusted depending on how far out you need to extend it. The adjustments in this TV are very easy to make and the TV holds wherever you adjust to you.

Awsome tv mount
Incredibly strong uses 6 lag bolts instead of the typical 4 to secure the base to the wall we used it for a 70 inch samsung to be able to mount it in a corner and it works and looks great with no fear of this thing dropping sagging or breaking and damaging our tv.

Problem is Minor
Everything went just fine except for one thing. I cannot find how to set the level of the TV. it moves/tilts right side up and left side down or vice versa. should be a screw the sets it but I cannot find. The directions could have been a little more detailed. the screws I have left do not fit where I would think they would go. But really nice extension. I am happy my problem is minor.

Well Built EXACTLY what I needed
When the box arrived I was surprised and pleased how heavy it was. Mount is EXACTLY when I needed. TV mounts flush when needed but extends far into room when needed and pivots 180 degrees with ease. Good instructions as well. Will buy again should I ever need another TV mount!

Easy to install

I chose this mount based on reviews and because I was terrified that more affordable mounts may weaken over time and eventually fail. Had the mount professionally installed and the installer said that he's seen a ton of mounts and this one is definitely one of the sturdiest he's ever seen. Ours is holding a 65 inch TV and it articulates so smoothly. No concern about it being unable to hold the weight at all. Well worth the price for quality and it's ability to articulate. We have a very deep set wall bc of a massive stone fireplace that extends over 24 from wall in main living area We did NOT want to have TV in the mantle but the TV was not viewable for all in room if guests were watching sports with us This mounting allowed us to pull and pivot past the fireplace and still stow it back and out of sight when not in use. Great for stationary use!
Great product but begins to sag at full extension. Still safe but required re-leveling of the tv with loosening a wing nut and adjusting it either by eye or with a level. Expect full extension to left or right to require adjustment when switching between. And yes we did bolt it to studs correctly it just has some play in the articulating parts - to be expected with anything of this level of motion and able to carry this type of weight

good mount but lacking a required flexibility opt
had this mount for a while as i had to open wall and reinforce the internal studs due to lack of mounting options from wider stud spacing in older home.however its been up for about 1/2 year now with no sag and moves well enough with minimal resistence. all of this is as expected.however immediately after installing i realized that there is no left and right slide play tv track (if there is i dont understand how but i dont think its me...just design) since the tv cant slide on the bars more than 1/4 their is no ability to correct mild out of center issues. there is no reason this shouldnt be an option one of the most expensive mounts offered. it just shows a lack of thought when considering all mobility jeeds for alignment quality. it may sound picky but you buy a $200 product to be perfect. no almost.

Horizontal bar blocking input panel
For my LG 65 TV the lower horizontal mounting bar lays right across the input panel (lower-right corner of my TV) and required a lot of modifications. I would recommend that Mount-It! supplies or sells another extension adapter arm that jogs up/down a few inches.Otherwise a very easy setup and functional unit.

Great mount with caveat
Great mount but kind of stiff and hard to position. Maybe over time it will loosen up a bit and become easier to position. Note that our requirements mean that we pull our 65 TV fully perpendicular to the mount.

Good mount shipping box was damaged badly.
This is a nice heavy duty mount with solid hardware and easy to follow directions. The only addition for the mount that would be nice to have is a drywall anchor option if only 1 stud is available to secure the mount to the wall. The shipping company used however did not take care of the product. Our box arrived severely beat up with styrofoam leaking out of an actual hole in the box which had been smashed in multiple locations. The mount did suffer from some of this abuse as there were visible scratches to the powder coating. This is the reason for not giving a 5 star review.

Nice Solid Design
Solid design nice features and good warranty (10 yrs) but had to return ours because our TV back was not all flat. Return shipping was paid by Mount-It hopefully Mount-it clarifies what Risk Free Return means upfront on their website as it is a little confusing. A Sturdy Mount
This mount is up to the task. Mounted a 75" Hisense TV. Mount is relatively easy to install. Sturdy construction. Intuitive instructions. Would make the same choice.

Far from perfect
I'm not that happy with this mount. The further you extend the more the TV starts to lean to one side. I'm not sure if it's a flaw with my particular mount or with the product in general (I did see one other review with a similar complaint). Fortunately I didn't actually need the 40 extension so keeping the TV closer to the wall keeps it level and very stable. However the price is not justified without the extension.

This product has a lot of sag when extended even 20 and it makes me uncomfortable to extend it all the way.

Potential for awesome mount if issues addressed
Could be a perfect mount that extend far enough to turn 75 TV 90 degrees except for:1. Mount and therefore the TV is not centered on the mount. Requires installing the mount off-centered to the studs that creates the next issue:2. There are many bolt holes for the top and bottom of the mount but only 3 below the top. That’s creates an issue where you must install the mount off-center to get the TV centered in and desired position where you are not able to used the bolt since there is no corresponding hole for it. The plat should extend to the same extend as top and bottom bolt holes.3. There are only 2 bolts to hold the tv from rotating horizontally. Regardless how many time adjusted to level position the tv will slide off center when moved! Need a better way to lock the tv to the mount so the horizontal/vertical adjustment stay put! The bolts are too small and there is a fear of over torquing to the point where the bolt will break or threads strip.4. Also need better instructions and measurements of the actual mount positions such the the final TV position can be achieved without lots of manual measurements hoping the math works out.5. Should include a permanent level on the mount!!6. Shipping box and method must be improved. The item is relatively heavy and the box must have been dropped multiple times and the current styrofoam packing is not sufficient in protecting the mount. Received with arm protruding through the box with multiple holes in the cardboard packaging!Love to see version 5 and think this could be an awesome mount!

Design problems especially for the price
This product isn't all that well designed- the openings for the outlet are puzzling as they are 3-1/2 square yet a 2-plug outlet is 5-1/2 high- my fault for not verifying this ahead of time!They also do not ship with enough variety of screw lengths. The only thing that saved me from a trip to the hardware store was having saved leftover hardware from another install.The directions are also rather scant.

Will not center on the wall!
Bought this to mount above a fireplace in new construction and needed the long extension for access. The mount itself is solid and sturdy enough to hold a 75 TV easily. The one drawback is that the mount will NOT center on the fireplace when pushed all the way back. There is no way to slide it far enough in either direction to allow centering. This is probably not an issue if you need the mount extended or in a corner etc. It says NOTHING about this on the site or the product description on the website or in the manual. A very critical miss on Mount-It's part! Since we bought the mount 5 months ago so we could build a plate for the mount in the stone there is no option for a return according to customer service. Now spending another and additional $174 (less the generous extra 5% discount code) to purchase a mount with the same size back plate. Need to cover all of the details in the description.

Out of Level When Moved?
I've been asking since the day I installed this mount if I should have to re-level it every time it's moved from one position to another.....no answer over two weeks later. I provided all the info they asked for including pictures (just like ebay scams) and can't get an answer. If I thought I would have to re-level the TV every time I move it I would have never bought it!

IMPOSSIBLE to center
It is impossible to center this mount within a defined wall area. Honestly could not believe it was true but it is -- I don;t know who can use this unless you don;t care where the tv sits on the wall give-or-take ***** or the other. Now its too late to return it so its a useless piece of junk and I need to buy a better-designed mount.

Horrible shipping and missing hardware
The package showed up smashed up and in terrible condition. Also all the hardware for the bracket and secure clips were missing. Calling customer support or if someone sees this to make this right please call me.
