Stout Mount
I just recently installed the MI-392 mount in my back yard for a 55 TV. The mount is against a stucco wall under a roof and it is well protected from rain. The mount is very sturdy and appears to be well made. The only problems I ran into was the lack of text on the instructions and the mounting hole spacing. The mount uses six bolts to hold it in place and give it the strength to hold a TV 36 from the wall. The instructions show to use one bolt in the upper center hole to hold the mount for marking the other holes. The problem is the distance between the center hole and outer hole widths is only 12 not a standard 16 stud spacing. If you use the center hole on a stud you cannot use the outer holes in a stud. Luckily my house had One stud at 12 from the center hole. I used the center holes to hit a stud and one outer hole to hit another stud. Since my wall was stucco I used the included concrete mounts to hold the other side of the TV mount. The use of all six bolts gives this mount incredible strength and I don't worry about the TV falling when fully extended from the wall. I'm giving this mount 5 stars because it delivered on its promise to move a tv far out from the wall while being sturdy. I feel the metal is thick enough to last for years and hold upwards of the 110 lbs the mount is rated for.

SOLID - Used for my 85 inch Screen
This is my 2nd mount from these guys and I'm really happy with it. I previously tried a Sanus mount for my 85 inch that had all the same features as this one (MI-392) in particular. On my Sanus mount the TV was shaky and in my opinion had way too much 'wobble' or residual vibration after moving it in and out for hook-ups. The arms would creek as well during operation. I was definitely concerned that the mount would fail and my 85 inch screen would smash to the floor. So I turned to Mount-It as I've been a previous owner of one of their mounts before for my 55 inch and had zero concerns. Well I'm so glad I did. This mount (MI-392) has helped me sleep better at night. Its construction is solid and feels strong especially when moving the screen away from the wall. I have not tried pulling it out to its full extension of 36 inches I have no reason to but I have pulled it out pretty far and there was no noticeable weakness bending or wobble. All and all it was less expensive and so much more SOLID. Thanks

If you want something 'strong' this is it!
This stand is STRONG! It will be used with a Sony 85 television and should have absolutely no problem keeping it secure. I am impressed with the design and quality of build. You can tell when a company cares about what they make. These people do.

Better than I expected!
I desperately wanted a larger tv to cover the antiquated tv niche over my fireplace but my husband refused to buy one thinking that we would never find a mount with a long enough reach. I purchased this mount and installed it by by myself. My husband is so impressed we are going tv shopping this afternoon. Now I have so much storage behind my tv with easy access to it.

This was the ideal mount for my location.
Our custom-built wall cabinet 23 inches deep made of exotic hardwood nearly 20 years ago is now undersized for using a modern 65 flat screen with no way to find usable studs until the mount and template were actually in hand! Since the mount's sturdy wall-plate had well-positioned holes and slots to mount securely where the studs were actually found as well as generous cutouts to allow the coax wallplate to stay in place without rewiring I was pleased to complete the job knowing I would not need to touch it again in my lifetime without worrying that years from now that it might fail catastrophically. The unit made ample provision for routing all cables and wiring between the 49-lb. TV and the five associated electronic accessories so it was a very clean job when done and the jointed mount bars extended and swung the TV mounting plate which also pivots to provide comfortable access for wiring then allows smooth non-binding but stable positioning of the TV to cover the entire opening with the original cabinet doors removed. I couldn't be more pleased.

Best Purchase in a long time!
What a great product and solution to hang a 60 46lb tv! I first considered to build a frame or false wall to install a small tv bracket and then I discovered this solution for a 36 arm reach! The template was perfect and even included a catch area on the bottom to catch drill dust particles. The packaging including hardware was easy to use and follow. Having the right tools always helps as I had a socket and drill kits so I used my ratchet wrench and socket for the lag bolts. One recommendation for Mount It is to have more guidelines on how to measure placement when you want to place from the top down. I measured from the Tv channel slot to the top of my TV and then placed the template at the location accounting for this distance. Worked perfect for me but might bbe confusing.

Very solid unit
This mount was used on a 52 pound 65 TV and was mounted in an alcove. It is very solid and was easy to install. Great mount for the money. I would definitely buy it again.

Just what we needed works great
We had a bought a shorter mount and found it didn't work as the fire place was still in the way so we bought this one. Now everyone in the room can see the tv and will push it back when not watching. Real happy with the item and very easy to put together.

A perfect mount for our application!
We have a unique situation that requires.mounting to a wall on a bump out I our living room and then rotating the TV almost 80 degrees to view it. This mount works perfectly for our 55 television.Love it!

MI-392 Bracket is Great!!
MI-392 installed and works as described. I have a pocket TV location in a corner bookcase and wanted to bring the TV out into the room a little bit and turn it 30-40 degrees. The bracket is super sturdy and I was able to hit two wall studs with the mounting bracket template. The only problem was finding a proper machine screw (length) to mount the rails to the TV. There should be a better set of instructions for different VESA mount configurations and popular TV brands all supported. I needed to go to a hardware store to buy a slightly shorter machine screw to mount the rails to my Samsung Q90T (brand new TV).

Excellent Product
Worked out real well even though the installation was a little confusing with respect to which way to mount the wall apparatus - arrows up or arrows down. Would have helped to have a more clear explanation of that. But all in all a great product.

Amazing build quality. Easy enough to install. Super stable even when pulled 36 out from the wall which is where I leave my TV since that was about the same distance when sitting on the old entertainment center. Purchase the Mount It MI-392 to replace a Forge Mount extension that was terrible. This proved again that you get what you pay for. The Mount It extension is well built works effortlessly. Should have spent a few extra dollars and purchased it first. I recommend this product.

Fireplace Alcove Solution
This was the perfect solution for us to be able to mount a 65 inch TV in the alcove opening above our fireplace. The extension on the arms provided us the ability to have the TV in the same spot without having to redo the opening.

Long arm TV mount
Sturdy even at full extension with a 75 screen. Sturdy enough that I put 150# on it at full extension and it didn’t flinch. My setup is outdoors under an open air roof…needed a bracket that was going to withstand wind and allow 180 degree rotation of the TV. This mount fit the bill and exceeded my expectations. Great value to boot!

Product was exactly what I needed. Plate was wide enough to be put into wall studs. House is not 16 on center. Had a 42 tv mounted and I can have in at a 90 degree off wall.

Heavy duty but lots of mobility
Once I got it mounted was pretty heavy It’s got lots of different angles and easy to adjust. Was nervous at first it wouldn’t work but loving the mount.

Well designed and super sturdy mount!
This thing is a BEAST! Built sturdy and solid you can definitely tell the difference between a one arm mount and a two arm mount. Super easy to install. I thought the size of the mount might make my 70 Samsung stick out too much.... nope... the t.v. looks like it's laying almost flush against the wall. I also thought that my 60lb. t.v. might sag when I turned it towards our dining room (about 45 degrees) but nope! No sag whatsoever. (Get a mount that can handle at least twice the weight of your t.v. for ultimate sturdiness) Awesome piece of equipment well worth the price. 5 stars.

Worked perfectly for a deep-set niche

Mount 2 2x6 strips on wall to span 3 wall studs and used purchased 4-1/2 inch bolts into the studs. Then used 1-1/2 screws to mount Arm to 2x6 strips. House would have to fall for this to come loose. Could also use thick plywood and proper length mounting screws.

Rock steady.
This thing is a beast. I can extend it to the maximum distance from the wall and the TV barely rocks at all.One small complaint the included drywall mounts were extremely difficult to use and not very effective. I ended up using my own drywall mounts and getting some extra screws into studs. Once I did that though the mount was perfect.

Love it so much I got a second one.
Super sturdy great mount for your expensive TVs. Got one over a year ago and keep it almost completely extended for my 65 oled.. still solid as a rock. Just bought another for my new bedroom tv. Both TVs are way under th weight limit but I wanted something that bolted into 2 wall studs instead of one. Would recommend this mount to anyone.

My mount was easy to order came quickly and was easy to install with efficient easy to follow directions.I actually was motivated to buy this mount because of a review that said their only complaint was that it was stiff to pull. Great Heavy Duty Mount
I put a TV outside on my patio and first mount I purchased wouldn't get the angle I needed. This one is excellent due to the amount of space you can get away from the wall. The mount is heavy but if installed correctly you don't have to worry. I would highly recommend this mount. I have two!

This mount is built like a tank with no sagging as the arms are extended. Installed a 77 inch LG OLED TV with Sonos sound bar. Only 2 issues that kept me from giving 5 stars; The 24 inch wall bracket was not wide enough to span the 32 inches between studs so I ended up lag bolting it to a 2 x 12 x 34 board that could make the span. Customer service said they did not have a 32 bracket option. A longer bracket would have made the install much cleaner and flush. Second issue was that although the arms were rock solid the tilt adjustment bracket was not strong or tight enough to keep the tv from tilting forward. Changing the washers to provide more clamping strength did not work and ultimately had to fill the adjustment slot with a metal spacer so the tv is now at a permanent tilt angle. Even as far back the slot allows the TV is about 4 degrees forward.

The mount itself is really good. The anchors included made me want to kick someone. Also the written instruction and install video differ. The video shows you a critical step that the written direction left out.

Good mount for extending TV. The shipping box had washers and wall mount screws loose in box. Washers were missing. Wish the installation manual had more suggestions for calculating height position.

Great mount!
This mount is very nice. I really appreciate the extended length. I have a 65 inch TV mounted in a cabinet in our living room. The size of the TV made it difficult with my previous mount, which only extended 22 inches, to get behind the TV when needed. This is a sturdy mount that can easily handle a large panel TV. I would give it 5 stars except for the installation issue. The instructions do not address a way to separate the extension arms from the back plate. If there is a way, it is not at all clear and would certainly not be easy. I am very handy and could not see a good way to do that, which meant I had to install the entire mount as one piece. It is very heavy and that was challeging. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

Very strong but pretty stiff.
Just installed this today. Comes basically assembled already. Was pretty easy to mount single handedly. It is very heavy so two people make it a lot easy if it’s too heave to hold alone. My only question is am I able to loosen the bolts on the arms to reduce the force needed to move the mount? It is very stiff. Good for putting the Tv right where you want it. Not very good for moving it around.

Arrived damaged.
Arrived damaged. Box open dented and scratched. Mounted offered to pay the shipping to return it if I boxed it up and delivered it to UPS. It was a big hassle. Could have been avoided with better packaging.
