basement tv
bought this unit to put a tv at the end of the bed but didnt want it always in the way. unit is well built and works very well. not that loud at all when working. love it!

Great mount at a fair price
The mount was easy to install and will fit a variety of of sets. It was a little slow going up and down but that is not a big problem. Will use again if needed.

Took a little measuring and adjustment to get the fit I needed. 50" TV mounted under a gazebo roof. Needs resetting whenever I take the TV cover on or off but other than that it does what I need. Instructions are vague.

It would be nice if it could extend down longer have a faster motor and a better & more detailed instructions. Besides those things it’s a cool mount.

Quality mount but know what you're doing.
I found the motorized retractable ceiling TV mount to be easy enough to install but it did require a little bit of creativity for my application. Like many others I installed this on a sheetrock ceiling so the included instructions weren't terribly helpful. I wound up bridging a few trusses with thick plywood and using my own hardware to secure the mount. The motion is a little bit on the slow side but that's probably safer than a heavy TV quickly swinging around my room. I would not hesitate to recommend this mount to anyone.
